Scope
The scope of NanoBionics III is to discuss functional biological molecules and their potentials in technical applications. Protein-based as well as DNA-based materials will be covered. Molecules with a technical potential, their function, their modification, their preparation and manipulation as well as their interfacing with conventional systems are addressed.

Location
NanoBionics III will be held in the castle of Rauischholzhausen near Marburg in collaboration of the Philipps-University of Marburg and the Justus-Liebig University of Giessen. Accommodation will be available in Marburg, a pituresque old town about 100 km north of Frankfurt.

Style
The scientific program - similar to the preceding NanoBionics I and Nanobionics II meetings - will be supplemented by daily varying social events which give plenty of opportunities for stimulating discussions.
